Yes, the Black Stone, also known as al-Hajar al-Aswad, is mentioned in the Quran in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 158. It is described as a "sign of Allah" and is placed at the corner of the Kaaba, the most sacred site in Islam. Muslims believe that Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his son Ismail (Ishmael) built the Kaaba and the Black Stone was given to them by the angel Gabriel as a symbol of Allah's covenant with them. It is customary for pilgrims performing Hajj or Umrah to kiss or touch the Black Stone as a sign of reverence and devotion to Allah.
